About David
David R. Breuhan is Vice President and Portfolio Manager with Schwartz & Co. in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. For the past 29 years, he has managed retirement plans and individual accounts for high net worth clients.
Following completion of Airborne and Ranger training, he led soldiers as an officer in the United States Army. As a Captain, David served as a Troop Commander in the Third Armored Cavalry Regiment in Operation Desert Storm. He taught graduate school for 13 years at Walsh College. He coached in the Rochester Soccer Club for 14 years and served as a board member.
He has published in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Barron’s, The Catholic Journal, The Detroit News, Infantry Magazine and The Marine Corps Gazette. His book is entitled, Spread The Wealth: More Haves Fewer Have-Nots.
David has lectured at West Point, Georgetown University, Hillsdale College and Oakland University. He has appeared on Neil Cavuto, National Public Radio and Bloomberg Radio. He has briefed the Vice President, Members of Congress and the United States International Trade Commission.
David received his Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Master of Science, with High Distinction, from Walsh College.
